The legend tells that some priests plunged more times during their life had reached 562 years of life. The mythical spring is quote also in some Chinese legends. Some texts tells of a spring somewhere in China, near K'un Lun mountains in the mysterious Yin Chou island, some others tells of holy Springs of Youth discovered by the ancient Olmeca civilizations and then obtained by Maya.
Contacted by the rich tycoon Cornelius Caesar Vanderbilt, desirous to be young again, Lara accept the assignment and after one month of studies go to an unexplored zone of Yucatan.
