use the sword (crowbar) on the middle switch - the clown should start singing and a monkey will run around the room - wait till it climbs up the platform and pulls the switch

First pull that switch in your savegame. Then go to the room on the picture, a new door will open - it's the alcove on the second floor, to the most left.
Go to the tower to find another switch there, then come back to the switches in the alcoves for the bridges.

Yes, finding all the secrets unlocks the bonus gameplay + another ending which has its own short level.

Are you in a room with a ladder hanging from the ceiling? Then you have to do a "curve" or "banana" jump, passing across the left side of the ladder and you should land on the second pillar.

What jump in which level? Those additional downloads are updates, tha fix the bugs that were found. It is not necessary you will encounter one of the bugs, but you can download and overwrite the existing files from the main download, just in case... But savegames from Crypt, Merlin's cave and Dedalu...

There is a reason why this and the next two levels are short. Because we reached the limit of available memory. So Basically Night castle was split into 3: night castle, castle guardian and time tower.
