Dear Ms Croft. This is professor Gregson and I am writing to you in connection with your recent find, namely the Kolobaine Crystal. After much examination, we have concluded that the crystal is not terrestrial, indeed we believe it highly probable that this gem originated on Mars. We have more evidence to support this hiphotosis in the Tamuhnra scroll, which seems to suggest a link to the red planet. However, I have other reasons for writing. It seem that the militant group, the White Wolves, are active again. Reports are coming in that they have been transporting equipment and metal crates to a small cave in Egypt. It seems that they have discovered the tomb of the Martaecians (a name mentioned in the Tamuhrna scrolls) , but we aren’t sure what they are doing there. We know that the information in the scroll and certain documents concerning the Kolobaine gem have been leaked and I now believe that it is the White Wolves who acquired this information. I need hardly remind you that this group has a history and that, whatever they are doing, it won’t be innocent and above board. I will send you the coordinates of this new tomb (as I am sure you will want to go out there) and ask you to stop whatever the White Wolves are doing…and naturally try to discover the link between the Tamuhrna scroll, the Kolobaine crystal and Mars.
