Tomb Raider 2013 coming soon to Linux

Feral Interactive announced that Tomb Raider 2013 Linux port will be available soon, this spring!

“We heard your requests and are pleased to present your next breath-taking adventure: Tomb Raider is making the move from Mac to Linux. Survive the dark perils of a forgotten island as the young Lara Croft, whose extraordinary instincts are her most powerful weapons. Challenging the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight, jump and climb through dense forests, treacherous mountains and WWII bunkers as she attempts to save her friends and make it off the island alive.”

A preview of the game on Linux will be possible through their Twitch channel March 30th at 6PM

The Tomb Raider Linux version will also support SteamOS and Ubuntu (a Linux-exclusive operating system). David Stephen, the managing director of Feral Interactive, also released a statement with the news. “We are delighted to be bringing one of gaming’s best-loved franchises to Linux in the exhilarating form of Tomb Raider. It traces Lara’s evolution from amateur explorer to battle hardened survivor in an amazing adventure that Linux gamers will relish.”

The Tomb Raider Linux port will be available this spring on Feral Interactive’s store, Steam, and numerous third-party sellers for $19.99.
